Lead1st consists of 4 Activities Training Manuals (ATM) and 4 complementary storybooks. The highly scripted, 8.5×11 format, gives teachers and parents specific directions on how to prepare the activity using common resources, running it, what to say, and then offers discuss discussion questions. Each ATM includes links and passwords for brief online tutorials.

Each module has a stand-alone storybook, introducing the Unums, led by Delta, who guides others through various events that illustrate the qualities emphasized. Each storybook consists of 12 chapters, each with an illustration (5.5×8.5 size). Every 3 chapters covers 1 of the 4 leader concepts, followed by discussion questions. You can read the story to the children or have them do it on their own.
