Stage 1 Leadership: Ages 3-5 (KiddieLead)

KiddieLead consists of 16, full-color storybooks, depicting an old English sheepdog named Max, who leads a team of animals through an array of projects. Each storybook focuses on 1 of the 16 leader qualities in the LeadYoung Training curriculum.

KiddieLead Activities Training Manual


A single Activities Training Manual (8.5”x11”) at this level is the Green Module, offering over 25 scripted, peer-led projects for teams of 3-5. Includes online video training for facilitator.

Full Color Storybooks

Each storybook (7”x10”) includes a coloring page (reproducible) and 3 leadership activities that parents/teachers can facilitate.  The books are appropriate for ages 2-7.

Back in the Nest focuses on the leadership quality of TEAM. Max, the old English sheepdog, leads a team of animals to put an egg back into its nest, by working together.

Food for a Friend explains the leadership quality of STRATEGY. Max leads the team to find food for a turtle passing by, who is very hungry.
